Structure that comes from writing
Most tracking apps ask you to fill in a form first and write second. Lite Journal works the other way round: you write as you normally would, and when you mention something worth keeping, you link it. The structure builds up out of the journal instead of the journal being squeezed into a structure.
People are linked the same way
There's no separate people feature to learn. A friend is linked with [[ like a film or a city, and their page shows every entry they appear in. Over months that becomes a record of who keeps turning up in your life, built without ever filling in a contact card.
Records you can open
Each link opens the record it points to: its properties, and below them the entries that mention it, newest first. From there you can jump back into any of those entries and keep reading.
